Cut Sleeve Boys is something of a surprise: a gay-oriented 'Rom-Com' feature that is touching and sincere, though quite campy. Set in London, the film follows a pair of thirty-something Chinese gay guys who begin to take a new perspective on their lives after a mutual friend suddenly dies of a heart attack when partaking of Poppers (Amyl Nitrate) while getting a blowjob during an anonymous sexual encounter in a gentlemen’s toilet.
Apparently, the term 'Cut Sleeve' is the Chinese slang term for gay.
