| The Stopping Power of Simon 'Hotsnapz' Barnes | Part 2 BASED IN LONDON, SIMON ‘HOTSNAPZ’ BARNES ENJOYS WORKING TOGETHER WITH HIS MODELS TO CREATE THE IDEAS AND THEMES THAT CAN REFLECT BEST THE MODELS PERSONALITY. HIS STYLE IS A MIX OF FASHION, PHYSIQUE AND ARTISTIC NUDES, SHOWING HIS SUBJECTS AS PEOPLE, NOT JUST A PRETTY FACE… OR BODY…  BeautifulMag has shown a great interest in the works of the man who calls himself Hotsnapz: Simon Barnes. No wonder we were very pleased when we got the chance to get to know him a little bit better through a casual interview. So recently we talked with Simon, and the result of that conversation continues today here on BeautifulMag, after we started last week Wednesday, April 30. What does the ideal man look like according to Simon 'Hotsnapz' Barnes? Hotsnapz: I think a guy with personality! Being a photographer I get to meet a lot of incredibly good looking guys, but the ones that press my button are those with a great sense of humour...being dark and handsome helps too. My other love is hairy guys, but sadly every model wants to shave themselves to extinction. Maybe I should start a campaign: BRING BACK THE NATURAL LOOK!!! Is this a professional or personal view? Hotsnapz: Oh. Purely professional! LOLWho is on the top of your secret wish list of people to photograph? Hotsnapz: You guys at Beautifulmag, without a doubt, followed by David Beckham.
Colin Farrell, Johnny Depp......What is next for Hotsnapz. What hot projects are in the pipeline? Hotsnapz: Well I’m always open to offers ! I’ve just finished quite a big fashion shoot with an exciting new designer, and I’ve got quite a few shoots lined up, but if anyone knows the team at D&G please let me know lol!    What about your private life Simon, are you seeing anyone right now? Hotsnapz: Are you offering?!Do you have any tattoo’s or piercings, and if not, are you thinking about getting some? Hotsnapz: Noooooo... well, maybe a tattoo, but I hate piercings... they are a nightmare at airport security. What do you wear when you are at home? Hotsnapz: I hate not wearing shoes....And in bed? Hotsnapz: I take my shoes off!   Finally Simon, what are you plans for next weekend? Hotsnapz: Weekends are always my time to meet new models. I try to help people I think have promise to build a portfolio...something that will help them get that all important agency representation! My one piece of advice to any aspiring model is GET THE PORTFOLIO RIGHT!
